Vintage Tribal: 360 x 300cm: This is a beautiful rare, rich, vintage traditional Afghan Turkoman tribal rug of Feel Pai Suleimani tradition. This rug is a rare and most elegant variant of the ancient Elephant Foot design. It is specifically known as "Suleimani", referring to its majestic background. The rug comes from the pre-Soviet 1979 era, when some of the finest Afghan rugs were woven. It is in superb condition and is finely woven in terms of knots-per-square inch.

The rug was found in the remote Faryab region of Afghanistan, along the former Soviet border. It is woven from 100% wool, incorporating natural dyes.
